I grew up in Pennsylvania, where my radio career began in the Central Pennsylvania cities of Harrisburg, Lancaster, and York. Along the way, my radio journey took me to Atlantic City, New Jersey, Pensacola, Florida, and Augusta, Georgia. My time in Baltimore included being the “M” in the highly rated KML radio show (KML on WIYY/98Rock) and even dabbling as a part-time stand-up comic.
With my soulmate and partner of 25 years, MJ, I’m a proud parent of two amazing girls. My family has always been my top priority, and yes, I’m one of those fathers who truly enjoys a good “dad joke”. No…Really, I do.
I retired from radio in 2025 after an incredible 30 year run on the Baltimore airwaves. Besides my time on 98 Rock as Mark on the Kirk, Mark and Lopez show in the late 90s and 2000s, I was part of the former CBS Radio Baltimore and the short-lived FM Talk 105.7. I also spent several years at 100.7 The Bay WZBA and on the original WRNR. But even radio retirement isn't set in stone... In May of 2026, the new 93.5 WRNR/WRNR.com welcomed me back. First, it was for a weekend show and now I'm heard Monday thru Friday 10am-2pm.
