Voiceover Policies for MOVO- Mike Ondayko Voice Ove

All rights in this work are reserved for purposes of laws in all jurisdictions pertaining to data mining or AI training, including but not limited to Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. This work may not be used to train AI.

User and/or client agrees not to use any portion of Talent’s recordings or performances for purposes beyond those outlined in the original agreement, including but not limited to artificial intelligence, machine learning, voice cloning, or synthetic voice creation, in accordance with our privacy notice regarding the use of Talent's work and our AI training policy.

Specifically, the Client may not:

- Use Talent’s recordings to simulate, replicate, clone, or synthesize Talent’s voice or likeness, adhering to the voice cloning restrictions.

- Create any “digital double” or AI-generated version of Talent’s voice or identity.

- Sell, license, transfer, or distribute Talent’s recordings to any third party without prior written consent.

- Enter into agreements on behalf of Talent involving the use of Talent’s recordings or likeness without prior written consent.

Additionally, the Client agrees to adhere to the retakes policy and to take reasonable and current industry-standard security measures to protect any digitally stored recordings containing Talent’s voice or likeness, including cloud-based storage systems. Such protections should include encryption and other up-to-date safeguards against unauthorized access, in line with our voiceover policies.

Retakes due to my error are always included at no additional charge, as outlined in our privacy notice and AI training policy. 

Performance Retakes (Undirected Sessions) - 

For self-directed sessions recorded in my studio and delivered remotely, one complimentary round of performance retakes is included. If adjustments or another version are desired with changes in tone, pacing, or delivery additional fees will be accrued. 

Please provide all direction, performance notes, and creative changes during this first round whenever possible. Any additional rounds of performance retakes after the one complimentary retake will be billed as revisions at the rates listed below Under “Script Revisions”.

Retakes related to pronunciation preferences that were not provided in advance — either in writing or via a pronunciation guide — are considered revisions and are billable. Examples include: “ee-ther” vs. “eye-ther”, “off-ten” vs. “off-en”, “oh” vs. “zero.” 

In line with our voice cloning restrictions, please handle all retakes and originals with care and security. 

Changes made to the script after recording has begun are considered revisions and will be billed according to our voiceover policies as follows: Minor Revisions (1–2 words) will incur a charge of $50, while Major Revisions (more than 2 words) will start at $100. Additionally, re-reads that exceed 30% of the original script will be billed at the original session rate. For more details, please refer to our retakes policy and our AI training policy regarding the voice cloning restrictions.

When requesting changes, please provide the exact line(s) to be re-recorded, the full sentence before and after the requested change, and the corresponding video timecode, if applicable. This process aligns with our retakes policy and our AI training policy, helping to ensure accurate pacing, tone matching, and continuity, as mentioned in our privacy notice. All change requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery of the original files. Requests made after 30 days will be billed at the original session rate, in accordance with our voice cloning restrictions and voiceover policies.

All new U.S.-based clients and all international clients are invoiced upfront unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, in accordance with our privacy notice. Payment must be received prior to final file delivery, as outlined in our voiceover policies, which also include important information about our voice cloning restrictions.
